We watched “The Eye” last night and I kept myself busy by ripping and knotting another garland. I made this one for my bedroom.
I have this Waverly Vintage Rose print on my bed
and I had some scraps of that from making matching shams and added my favorite toile and crisp green color.
It was a good distraction from the bad movie.

I agree…horrible movie. However, adorable garland! I just finished a great book actually…not an author I’ve ever read before, but you know how it is in Barnes and Noble…my proverbial candy store…anyway, it’s called The Program, by Stephen White. It’s about a Louisiana prosecutor who gets shoved into the Witness Protection Program after her husband is murdered-purposely-right in front of her. She and her daughter, however, are not safe. Is it because she was an open critic of the program? Or because of a guy she prosecuted who openly threatened her? You gotta read it to find out! It was great though. I really enjoyed it. You can even borrow my now well worn copy if you like. Just let me know!

So cute. Love the color combo too! I think I need to see the swags in person ’cause while I think they’re cute, I’m still not personally buying into it as a decor for my home!
