I wonder if my camera takes good close-ups too? I know it has a 10x zoom lens that's 28mm wide angle, and I love that I can take things far away and bring them closer, but I haven't tried the close-ups yet! I'll probably be like you and have this camera for about a year before I know all the things it does! Our cameras sound similar 'cause mine has the same type of flat battery that plugs in the wall.
