I made this banner last night.

I am going to try and sell it on ebay. If you want to buy it, click here and bid! If you win it,  tell me you saw it on this blog, I will ship it for free!

I found a few cute things while thrifting. Here are a couple.

A cute wooden organizer and a pink book titled “The Luckiest Girl”. The pink glass heart is an old treasure of mine.

Jenny told me I had to blog this… so here I go. I went shopping with my mom a couple weeks ago and told her I needed some brown shoes. I have black, I have red, white, you name it… but no cute brown shoes. So my lovely mommy bought me these THREE pairs of brown shoes. I love her… and my new shoes.

I’m really struggling to keep up with all these holidays that are all at once this year. My poor house is confused. I have a St. Patty’s Day flag outside with my Valentine’s decor still up inside and my Easter pulled out of the attic waiting to go up. It kinda looks like my tag screen exploded all over the house!

Wanna know more about the tag screen? See Jen’s post on it here.  Anyway… I am up to my eyeballs in holiday… I’m not sure it’s a bad thing though :) What are you guys doing with St. P’s and Easter a week apart this year?

Here it is folks… lemme show you the before just one more time.

Ok, still have some decorative elements to add, but here is my laundry room now!
drum-roll please…
ready…
The picture is kinda dark because there is a lot of light in the room. The wall color is Vintage Map by Martha Stewart… Well, I actually took the Martha paint swatch to Wal-Mart and used the ColorPlace paint because it only takes one coat and is AWESOME paint. I mean what other paint will take one coat over plaster, drywall and joint compound? The Wal-Mart color equivalent is called “Green Acres” - it’s an EXACT match to Martha’s color. I used semi gloss because I like the glossy sheen. I will be sure to show more pictures as I decorate the room more. What a great Valentine’s Day gift!
Well… off to do some laundry!

How to start this post… it’s been a LONG time since my last one so I have to update y’all on why I have been MIA. We took a well deserved vacation to Tahoe the 7th-10th. On the 7th my dear co-worker/friend Roy Reimche passed away and the week of the 11th was dedicated to his memorial service and recovering from a nasty flu that went around the office. On Valentine’s Day Aaron bought me these three rings…

and then decided that he wanted to also bless me with a completed laundry room! This may not sound exciting to you but look at my laundry room before…

YUCK! This is really embarrassing but my laundry room was never completed and became a dark smelly hole. I really do mean smelly… see that yellow stain on the insulation… yeah… that’s cat pee. Disgusting and embarrassing- no one was ever allowed to see this room in this state until now. In fact, when friends and family called over the weekend and asked what we were doing they said “Fixing your laundry room? I didn’t even know you had a laundry room… where is it?” After five days of labor, here is my lovely room all sheet-rocked, plastered and ready to be painted.

I PROMISE to keep you updated throughout the rest of this project.

The only thing better than taking a MOMent for yourself is giving one to a friend.

We had a great meeting last night…. about… SEX! It was super fun and a great turn out. I am working on updating our website with pictures and notes from the event. I am hoping to add a section about sex/marriage on the website and a form where ladies can ask anonymous questions. Check it out later tonight, it should be updated. www.MOMentsOTC.com
